Sustainable Development Committee

To achieve its sustainability goals, Otsuka Information Technology Corp. has established the "Code of Conduct for Sustainable Development" to implement corporate governance, promote environmental sustainability, uphold social welfare, and enhance information disclosure related to sustainability, striving to achieve its goals of sustainable operation. On November 11, 2024, the Board of Directors resolved to establish a "Corporate Sustainability Promotion Team," and on August 10, 2026, it approved the establishment of a "Sustainability Committee." The committee elects the General Manager as convener and appoints a Sustainability Chief Executive Officer to manage impacts and determine the medium- to long-term direction of sustainable operation, serving as the company's decision-making center for sustainability.
Upholding the corporate spirit of becoming the best partner for enterprise digital transformation and providing sustainable services, we integrate the concept of sustainable development into the operation of all mechanisms within the company. While promoting key issues that align with global sustainability trends, we aim to prioritize service and technology, review the overall environment and stakeholder expectations, continuously negotiate with key stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, shareholders, and employees, and integrate corporate operational development goals to plan corporate social responsibility strategies. We aspire to deepen the integration of the organization and value chain, improve ESG performance, and gradually achieve our goals of strengthening governance, developing innovation, and setting an example, thereby fulfilling our corporate social responsibility and sustainable development goals.

Partnership

Supply Chain Management

Suppliers are indispensable partners to our company. In addition to our commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, we aim to leverage our influence to encourage suppliers to align with these values. Both our Code of Conduct and Sustainable Development Code of Practice include specific guidelines for ensuring ethical operations and the implementation of sustainable development by our suppliers. Regarding supplier management, we have published a "Supplier Management Policy" on our company website, which explicitly integrates aspects such as business ethics and integrity, risk management, labor and human rights, social welfare, and environmental protection. We require all partnering suppliers to complete a "Supplier CSR Self-Assessment Form" when signing contracts. This form allows suppliers to conduct a self-assessment based on various ESG criteria and to sign our "Supplier Sustainable Development Code of Conduct." As of December 31, 2025, we have received a total of 55 self-assessment forms from our suppliers. Through these specific measures, we aim to strengthen supplier management and work hand-in-hand with our suppliers to contribute to environmental protection and social sustainability, advancing towards the goals of corporate and environmental sustainability.

Social Care

Our company upholds the spirit of "Public Welfare Without Absence" and continues to demonstrate our commitment to social responsibility through concrete actions, with a particular focus on the well-being of children and students. Under the theme "Spreading Love Together, Fulfilling Happiness," we mobilize all employees to participate in a series of heartwarming charity activities. We recognize that children are the future of society, and that they require care and support, whether it be in terms of their living conditions or learning environments. With this in mind, this year’s charitable activities were centered around supporting children and students, launching a series of meaningful initiatives aimed at directly supporting.

Environmental Sustainability

In fulfilling our responsibility to the global environment, the Company promotes policies aimed at energy conservation and resource recycling. This includes increasing the procurement rate of energy-efficient equipment and striving to minimize any potential environmental impacts or harms during our operations.

Greenhouse Gas Management

We have established a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory Task Force, responsible for compiling the Group’s greenhouse gas emissions data. Following the internationally recognized GHG Protocol for greenhouse gas inventory standards, the team identifies greenhouse gas emissions and significant emission sources
The carbon emissions statistics primarily focus on the parent company. Scope 1 includes emissions from the fuel consumption of company vehicles, while Scope 2 accounts for electricity emissions from office locations. The following are the greenhouse gas emissions statistics for the past two years, covering both the parent company and subsidiaries.

Waste Management

At our operational sites, the main types of waste generated are general office waste and recyclable materials. No hazardous waste is produced, and the environmental impact remains minimal. However, as waste disposal is managed by certified service providers contracted by the building management centers of each office location, we are unable to provide precise statistics on waste generation. Nevertheless, we require employees to implement waste sorting practices to reduce the environmental impact of waste and enhance the value of recyclable materials.
To further minimize waste production, the following concrete measures have been implemented:

  • Promoting and enforcing waste sorting to encourage resource recycling.
  • Reviewing the necessity of document printing and encouraging the use of double-sided printing, as well as reusing single-sided paper for recycling.
  • Reducing the use of disposable items by encouraging employees to use their own eco-friendly products (e.g., paper cups, utensils, etc.).
